Usually, every program has a certain number of subject areas, which may or may not be the same for every studying year of the program. To work with subject areas select Edit | Subject areas option from the menu.
Even if the faculty has only one subject area is obligatory to insert it.
as shown on the picture below.

Add a new subject area in the table, where you can enter a name, code and the number of students for the subject area. Double click on the field to enter new data.
Delete a selected subject area.
The table shows the names and the codes of the subject areas in the selected program and studying year and also the number of students that can sign up for the subject area. These columns can be easily modified by double clicking on the field you wish to change. The last two columns can not be modified. They represent the number of groups that are assigned to the subject area and the number of students per group.
Move the subject area from a current program to the one you choose from the list. See the picture below. You can move more subject areas at the same time.
Copy the subject area from a current program to those you have chosen from the list. You can move more subject area at the same time.
Move a selected subject area up in the list.
Move a selected subject area down in the list.
