There are two ways of making timetables:
Timetables are maintained in the same way as manually made.
Maintaining a timetable is consisted of many different things like entering, changing, deleting and viewing schedules, finding unallocated turns, viewing occupancy etc.
There are four manual ways of making and maintaining timetable. Each way has its own advantages, depending on your current needs. You can make or maintain a timetable via:
The main workspace is made for maintaining the timetable. Using the different views of a timetable, you can easily maintain the timetable.
Usually you're entering the courses when you have already entered all other data (programs, subject areas, groups, lecturers, locations and students), so it is a very convenient moment for making a schedule for that course.
Find unallocated turns is very convenient for finding an unallocated turns and its scheduling into timetable.
When you have already entered a part of a timetable, you can view when lecturers, groups and locations are available and at the same time you can make schedule for them.
For quick review of all locations use View locations from the menu.
View lecturers shows occupation of lecturers and theirs blocked and preferred terms.
For quick review of all conflicts in the timetable use View conflicts from the menu.
