To set up miscellaneous settings select Settings | Miscellaneous from the menu.
Select which data will be shown on the basic screen on the work space. You can choose between: none, groups and comments.
Select the default number of seats in the rooms. This number of seats will be shown when new location will be added.
Choose wether only lecturer's last name or full name will be shown.
Tick print schedules for Saturday to print schedules also for Saturdays.
If you tick use quick insert you will be able to manually insert courses into timetable quicker because one control window will not open.
Define primary hours. Automatic generation will try to schedule all courses within those hours. Define secondary hours. Automatic generation will schedule courses within those hours if it could not schedule them within primary hours. So primary hours have to be within secondary hours.
Define the number of iterations of automatic generation. More iterations will last more time but timetable will be more optimal.
Tick generate for Saturday to generate schedules also on Saturdays. Tick optimize generation for cyclic timetables to optimize generation for cyclic timetables. Cyclic timetables are timetables that are the same in all weeks. Tick allow empty day for lecturers if it is allowed that lecturers have free days. Tick allow M+N lectures in neighboring days if the same lecture can be taught in neighboring days. (E.g. the lecture of Mathematics is taught in Monday and Tuesday).
Tick "Lecturers - show also location" to show also locations in the timetable for lecturers. Tick "Lecturers - one row for one course" to show one course in one row in the timetable for lecturers. Tick "Groups - show also location" to show also locations in the timetable for groups. Tick "Locations - show also course" to show also courses (that take part in locations) in the timetable for locations.
Press Confirm to save the changes.
Press Default to save current setting as default settings. Those settings will be selected when new file is created.
Press Cancel to cancel the changes.
